• Second, the tiles must not be blocked by others. A tile is considered “free” when:
• Another tile on top does not cover it.
• It has at least three free sides, meaning it is not surrounded on both the left and right by other tiles.
• If a tile is blocked or trapped between other tiles, it cannot be selected or matched.

Time-Limited Gameplay

Each Mahjong Solitaire game is played under a limited time constraint, adding pressure and excitement to every round. You must clear the entire board before the timer runs out.

In addition to the timer, the game also shows the number of available movements on the board, usually displayed in the top-left corner of the screen. This number represents how many valid matching moves are still possible.
