How the Playing Area Works in Pyramid

The Pyramid card game consists of three main areas: the Pyramid Tableau, the Stockpile, and the Waste Pile. Each area plays a specific role in the gameplay.

Pyramid Tableau

The Pyramid Tableau is formed by placing all cards face up in overlapping rows, creating a pyramid shape. This layout is very different from traditional games like Solitaire.

You can only interact with cards that are at the bottom of the pyramid and are not covered by any other cards. Clearing these cards allows you to access the cards above them and gradually break down the pyramid.

Stockpile

The Stockpile contains the remaining cards from the deck that are not placed in the pyramid. When there are no available moves on the tableau, you can draw cards from the stockpile to continue the game and create new possible pairs.

Waste Pile

When you draw a card from the stockpile, it is turned face up and placed in the Waste Pile. Cards in the waste pile can be paired with cards from the pyramid or with other waste cards to help you reach the required total.

How to Remove Cards from the Screen

To remove cards in Pyramid, you simply click on the cards you want to select. Choose two cards whose total value equals 13, and they will automatically disappear from the screen.

The King (K) has a value of 13 by itself, so you only need to click on a King to remove it without pairing it with another card.

Difficulty Levels from Easy to Hard

Pyramid offers multiple difficulty modes, including Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Master, Grandmaster, and Random. Easier modes make it faster and simpler to find valid card pairs, making them ideal for new players. Higher difficulty levels require more planning and offer a greater challenge.

Using Hints

If you cannot find any valid card pairs, you can use the Hints feature. It suggests a possible next move to help you continue. However, hints may sometimes lead to circular moves and do not always guarantee a direct path to victory.

Leaderboard in Pyramid

Pyramid includes a leaderboard that ranks players based on how quickly they complete a level. The maximum score is 260 points, so completion time is the key factor in determining your position on the leaderboard.
